Two things held my imagination when I designed this dining table. The first is Samson, a local seal lion, so prized that he had volunteer guards. The second is a viking longship, the type with long oars. Both are sea-going and formidable, each of these carry themselves with a fluidity and handsomeness unexpected for their size.
